Due to growth, Roush is looking for an experienced CNC Toolmaker to work on the day shift in Dearborn, MI. This position is responsible for prototype toolmaking as well as designing and the machining of the fixtures and jigs used in the machining process. 


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess a Journeyman Toolmaker Card or has 5 years of experience with the set-up, programming, and operation of CNC mills and CNC lathes
  • Experience cutting various materials such as steel, stainless steel, alloys, aluminum, and plastic
  • Proficient in the use of manual tool room equipment such as OD/ID, surface and rotary grinders, honing machine, and manual lathe
  • Proficient in the use of Mastercam software
  • Experience using Fadal, Haas and Fanuc controls
  • Experience operating Fadal and Haas Machining Centers
  • Experience operating Mori Seiki and Hardinge CNC lathes
  • Possess the skills to work from prints, sketches, verbal instructions, and solid models
  • Possess the skills to read and interpret blue prints with GD&T descriptors
  • Works in a diverse team environment
  • Must have good attention to detail
  • Must have reliable attendance and be willing to work overtime/weekends
