Due to increasing workload, Roush is looking for additional technicians to join our team, working directly at a customer site. Technician will be responsible for: instrumenting vehicles and prepping for test, driving vehicle to/from test area and base station, troubleshooting vehicle and systems issues, communicating with other technicians and functional units, monitoring track and weather conditions, understanding and modifying test procedures, report generation and distribution, and de-rigging vehicles. This position is located in Romeo, MI.  


  • Minimum two years’ automotive technician experience or equivalent schooling
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have reliable attendance and be able to work off shifts and weekends
  • Able to follow procedures and work instructions
  • Must have valid driver’s license and excellent driving record
  • Must be a self-starter and self-motivated
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere and learn new tasks
  • Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Robotics and instrumentation experience
  • Electrical system debugging
  • State/ASE certifications
