We are seeking a motivated and energetic Material Control Supervisor. This person will be responsible for providing leadership and direction in the parts crib, as well as the organization of the crib depending on program scale/material coming in, handling material logistics within the building, and general warehouse management. This person will also be responsible for administrative duties such as sorting, organizing, and filing documentation for the parts crib. This position is a day shift opportunity located in Allen Park, MI.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum five years material control experience.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of inventory control.
  • Proven experience organizing the crib/warehouse and coordinating logistics within a facility.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Must possess good computer skills including, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Possesses a background in the automotive industry.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be willing to work overtime and weekends when needed.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail.
  • Must be a self-starter and self-motivated.

Preferred:

  • GPIRS software experience.
  • Possesses an understanding of the vehicle build process.
