Position Description

Conway MacKenzie, Inc. is a premier consulting and financial advisory firm with expertise in financial and operational restructurings, valuation and opinion services, transaction services, investment banking, case management, litigation support and fiduciary services. Our professionals work closely with management teams, business owners, creditors, equity investors and counsel to develop solutions and negotiate restructuring alternatives, helping clients overcome complex business challenges and achieve their strategic and financial goals.


The Marketing Assistant is responsible for a variety of marketing and research tasks related to the day-to-day operations of the organization. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:


• Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
• Identify and evaluate service line characteristics, market share and pricing
• Utilize the company’s research tools and databases to conduct industry research on competitors and clients
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations as directed including fact gathering, creation, printing, binding and distribution of presentations
• Perform special projects and/or other marketing functions to support the business
• Event planning and execution of marketing events to increase brand awareness
• Create, deliver, edit and optimize marketing materials
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to write articles, press releases and other related marketing and promotional material
• Coordinate, prepare and organize marketing and advertising plans and objectives including social media outreach
• Support management in all general marketing related functions
• Additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned


• Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (specifically PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to communicate and interact effectively and professionally with upper management
• Must be highly organized with flawless attention to detail, self-review and follow-up
• Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize and deliver high quality work within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Willingness to be coached / desire and capacity for growth / positive learning attitude
• Must be a team player
• Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality
• Able to work overtime when necessary


• Bachelor’s degree required
• 2-5 years of experience within a professional services, marketing agency, advertising, media, or public relations services firm required
