Hours: 1st shift- 5am to 5pm

Test materials to ensure proper specifications and quality standards of materials are met. Assist with all operations of the department.
•Perform a variety of laboratory tests on materials including VLR busheling, #1 shredded material, GM briquettes, aluminum and stainless steel for correct quality standards.
•Compile test data analyze test results. Prepare summaries of findings for management.
•Assist with receiving, shipping, and other operational needs that come up.
•Assist in special testing projects.
•Maintain equipment such as Innovex Gun and Button Maker in proper working condition.
•Assist in the design of new systems, processes, product or equipment.
•Maintain all laboratory files and records.
•Ability to meet physical demands and perform the essential job functions within the work environment identified in this job description.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
•High School Diploma or GED required
•Plastics knowledge is helpful
•Lab experience preferred
