What does JMP Automation do?

We design, build, and integrate world-class smart robotic solutions to solve challenging material handling and manufacturing problems for a variety of industries. Our projects typically last between 3-12 months and range in value from $50k to $10M+ with project team sizes between 3 and 20 members.

  • Experience with robots, PLC’s, programming, electrical design and/or industrial automation

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical
  • Confidence with presenting your ideas freely and speaking in front of groups

What would a typical day be like?

Rewarding. As a Robotics & Controls Specialist, you will likely contribute to 2-4 projects daily. You will be involved in the design, programming and commissioning of controls systems of projects including PLC’s, robots, motion control and vision systems. Equipment is assembled at JMP, tested thoroughly, then installed at our customer site where it is tested again. Travel to customer sites in North America several times per year are required, typically lasting 1-2 weeks per trip.
