We are now hiring a Tool & Die Technician on 1st shift. Your responsibilities range from supporting the construction of new injection molding tools, fixtures and components to completing a variety of tooling repairs and revisions. Tool room team members are also fundamental in the maintenance of existing tools and dies, as they ensure molds are inspected, cleaned, polished and reassembled in time for their next production run achieving minimal down time.

In addition, our Tool & Die Technicians enjoy working independently and in teams to trouble shoot mechanical mold problems. They are invited to aid in the design and creation of blue prints for mold components and related tools.

Requirements you bring:

  • Journeyman credentials or 8 years of verified experience, including a minimum 4 years’ working in a tool room environment
  • Prior experience in injection mold repair and assembly of components and automation expertise preferred
  • Able to read and comprehend blue prints and tool drawings
  • Able to read machine shop gages and indicators
  • Experience with standard tool room equipment including lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, etc.
  • Ability to function as part of the tooling team to support manufacturing and engineering
  • Ability to communicate across the manufacturing environment with manufacturing supervisors and operators
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
