Position Summary: Unloads bulk liquids from delivery vehicles to designated storage tanks using pumps, filters and valves.  Loads bulk liquids into drums, kegs, and pails. Follows all proper procedures for loading and unloading material.

Essential Functions:

Climbs ladders on tanker trucks and loads oil from the top of the truck.

Performs product quality testing in accordance with guidelines and standard test methods.

Ensures all incoming and outgoing bulk liquids meet quality requirements.

Ensures proper quantities are transferred and tanks are properly filled.

Assist with physical inventory counts and processes.

Monitors transfers to ensure no leaks or spills occur.

Performs calculations to determine appropriate mixtures, weights and volumes to meet order specifications.

Ensures incoming and outgoing orders are properly documented.

Ensures all additives are properly labeled and stored in a safe manner and that all empty drums and pails are disposed of in the proper manner.

Promptly reports leaks and spills and cleans up as required.

May assist with other material handling duties such as restocking non-bulk material, transporting empty containers to the proper disposal area, and transporting and disposing of waste material in the proper area.

Follows all safety, environmental, and regulatory policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Possess ability to perform warehouse functions
  • Ability to regularly lift and move 10-70 pounds and roll a drum up to 500 pounds
